What Causes Circular Spots On The Face In An Elderly Person?

I just turned 60...& have noticed changes in my skin..which I know is normal, however...I have about four circular spots on my face which I am curious about. Two have been on my cheeks for a while....which are very light. One small one below my nose. That one almost looks like a ringworm. Then a dark one on my temple. Any ideas what may cause these?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

There are a number of possibilities and it is very difficult to say for sure what it can be without seeing the lesion. It may be a ring worn, an allergic reaction, erythema anulare, fungal infection etc. But as said it cannot be said without seeing it so please if you could share a Pic of it or you may see your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman, General & Family Physician
