My new doctor wants to put me on Lyrica or gabapentin. I was assaulted in 1990 and suffer severe pain in C3/4L4/5 hip and knee as well as sciatica. I take 3 10 mg of oxycodone and baclaphen. My old doctor had me on 15 mg of oxycodone 4 times a day. I suffer with diverticulitis and my pharmacist did not think Lyrica and gabapentin were a good choice. I am in extreme pain since they cut my oxycodone. It has been a month. I do not want to take the Lyrica and gabapentin as I have chronic diahrea and severe stomach pain.ni also have leg pain and a breast lump and just had MRI. I am supposed to get the lump cut out but have not yet been treated for keg pain which could be a blood clot. I go to the doctor tomorrow and don t know what to say why I did not start the Lyrica and that the large decrease in oxycodone is causing me more pain. my quality of life was better before with the higher dose of oxycodone. How do I handle this.
