1. As there is history of
chronic diarrhea, thus following should be your approach:
- Gastroenterologist opinion & examination
- Stool Test

- K.U.B. X- ray and Barium Enema
2. As you are taking Lamictal 200 mg which is an anticonvulsant medicine and also given in
bipolar disorder symptoms in adult patients thus patient can experience change in bowel movements [either constipation or diarrhea] with the therapy which can cause
abdominal bloating, cramping and discomfort in some patients so make sure to check with your prescribing physician regarding the same.
3. Management is successful only after other investigation(s] comes out to be normal, so exclude the causes cited and then proceed further, till then:
- avoid fatty foods, oil,ghee,raw vegetables, overeating and take a
Digestive enzyme and fibre rich diet with fruits
