What Causes Chest Pain, Dizziness And Breathing Problem?

I struggle to breath on and off. This past week it happens most of the day, getting worse at night. I used to take ativan for this but haven't for a long time. I always worry whether I am just hyperventilating due to anxiety or if I'm having heart problems? Sometimes I get dizzy and my chest hurts, but that could be because I struggle to catch my breath so often. It's after 1:00 am and I can't sleep because I can't breath so thought I would try to get an answer.

Hello,

Possibility of stress and anxiety-related symptoms is more likely. So better to consult a psychiatrist and get done counseling sessions. Try to identify stressor in your life and start working on its solution. You may need anxiolytic drugs (propranolol and flunarizine combination) too. Avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm. Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
