What Causes Chest Pain And Shortness Of Breath In 39 Year Old Woman?

My chest has been aching every morning when I wake up and often through the day. I am also often short of breath and feel as though I cannot get a "full" breath. This feeling is NOT accompanied with any sort of fear or panic.. It is often accompanied by EXTREMELY cold hands and feet and a spacey feeling. It is made MUCH worse by caffeine and emotional stress. Also, no matter what I do I am exhausted after about 20 minutes of working out at a moderate level. It's been two years and I can't get beyond 20 minutes at a moderate level. My grandfather had heart disease caused by alcoholism. I do not drink or do drugs. I have a very healthy diet and I try to work out often. I am a 39 year old married female. I have two teenage children and work a high stress job. But I love my husband and my kids are wonderful. I have no cough... I can't think of anything else to add. :)

You should definitely get an EKG, chest xray and lab work done. True this may not be cardiac. You also need to have your thyroid checked among other things.
