What Causes Burning Sensation In Night?

Last night, for the third time this week, I woke up with a burning sensation all over. The first time, it was just the back of my neck and lasted about 20 minutes. the second time it was the same area but didn t last as long. Last night was the worst. It feels like I have a sunburn and I am laying out in the sun. It was my arms, legs, feet, back, face. I haven t changed detergent or anything. It lasted about an hour. Like I said it felt like a really bad sunburn. I really expected to look beet red when I turned on the light. i don t have any rash or redness. I didn t feel hot to the touch either.
