Those pubic rashes always brings two diagnoses to mind.
Tinea cruris, which is a
fungal infection of the groin area, and pubic
lice infestation which is caused by lice which feeds on human blood.
Based on the above, I would suggest you get an over-the-counter antifungal cream such as
clotrimazole, apply it and keep the area dry and clean. Furthermore, ensure not to wear tight-fitting underwears as these could keep the area moist and encourage fungal growth.
If the antifungal cream doesn't clear it off, then our differential- pubic lice would be more likely. For this you would get medicated shampoos which you can apply on the area to eliminate the lice.
