What Causes Bumps On Gums On The Side Of The Tooth That Was Pulled?

I recently had a tooth out, and I was not in pain or anything until now 2 days later it is a little ache and gums are a little swollen now... I all the sudden have about 4-6 little bumps on my gums from front to back but only on the side of the tooth that was pulled, is this a sign on an infection ?/

Hello,
Your symptoms suggest some difficulty with healing and a follow up visit to your dentist is recommended. Dry sockets can occur and be very painful after an extraction.
