What Causes Breathing Difficulty And Chest Discomfort?

I had a bad cold for a few days a couple of weeks ago. I was treated with Dysport for wrinkles last Friday. On Sun. I started having problems breathing. I feel like there is fluid in my chest. my nose is congested but not running. when I blow it, nothing really comes out. but I feel fluid going into my chest. I thought my asthma returned which I haven t had an attack in 10 years. My doctor prescribed an inhaler but it doesn t seem to help. I cough but really as a reflex to try to clear my chest. Could it be from the Dysport?

Hi,

I don't really think that dysport has anything to do with your symptoms. It has only local effects on muscle paralysis. The symptoms you refer are those of pneumonia.

Yet a doctor visit and listening to your lungs is needed. You may also need to do an X-ray of chest to get diagnosed. You need to take antibiotics orally or better by injection.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
