I am a 550 lb woman. I was prescribed Clindamycin for a possible tooth infection. I took it and had mild side effects I finished it about 5 days ago. 3 days ago I got very sick, very fast. I vomited for over an hour, had an empty stomach so after bile came up, it was dry heaving. I got an instant headache and felt very tired. I went to sleep at around 4pm and when I awoke at 9:30pm I had a fever of 103.6/ I usually run low in the 96 range. The following morning my caregiver tried to lift me out of my chair and I had extreme low back pain and muscle spasms in my thights. Caregiver called my PCP and she said to drink lots of fluids, sleep and if my fever got any highger to go to the ER. Even while taking tylenol my fever never went below 103 for over 30 hours. During all this I had EXTREME chills and then I d be unbearably hot. My thighs are red an swollen. I don t know if any of this is because of the antibiotic, flu or both. Today diarhea started too. Can you help? Thnx
