What Causes Body Aches While On Methotrexate For RA?
Hi Doctor,
I've had mild body aches (with a mild head cold) now for 5 days. I thought body aches were only supposed to last a day or two. I am taking immunosuppressants (Methotrexate) for R.A. - could that be the reason the aches are dragging/still present? =(

Hi, WELCOME to HCM. It is unlikely due to methotrexate, it can be due to rheumatoid arthritis itself.Along with methotrexate folic acid is prescribed so make sure you are taking folic acid.Ithink this will be of help to me.
