What Causes Blood Spot In Eye?

hi, how are u doing? i just noticed that i have a tiny red blood spot in the white part of my left eye. i ve been experienced blurry vision on and off in the past couple months. My eyes already feel so dry and red all the time, probably due to wearing contact lens everyday for more than 12 hours. I m pretty worry when seeing the little blood spot on my eye. can you tell me what to do and is it gonna be something serious? thanks

Hello
Welcome to Health care magic

I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that you are having a blood spot in the eye. This can be because of subconjunctival hemorrhage as a result of minor injury while wearing contact lens.
No need to worry about this condition and this will resolve by 1 week. If there are symptoms like pain, watering you need to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Thank you

it may be due to constant use of contact lens. it causes dry eye and corneal erosion. you have to remove contact lens and apply artificial tear drop. during this time use your specs. inashort time you will be alright
