What Causes Blood In Stool After A Head Injury?
A friend of mine got fell and hit his head on a steel pipe. This was last Wednesday. This morning he told me ever since the incident he has had red blood in his stool ( not a ton maybe a tablespoon or 2) and very loose bm s could these 2 be related? Is it serious? He doesn t have insurance and refuses to go unless he is sure something is wrong.

headinjuryorconcusion isnot related-to bleeding per anum.it may be due to piles fissure or fistula.get anal canal examined by surgeon. for head injury it can be concusion or just shaking of brain.watch for signs like nausea vomiting and pupil reaction to light.
