What Causes Blood In Ears During Pulmonary Oedema?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here Hello my Nannan has just come out of hospital after they found a pulmonary oedema and she is in heart failure (has four leaky heart valves) he came out yesterday and woke up in the night with blood coming from her ears - what could this be??

hello, thanks for your query, blood could be due to infection, spontaneous bleeding from aspirin like medication or heart failure and pulmonary edema patients are treated with nebulizations and ventilators causing barotrauma to ear causing ear bleed. u need those an ent surgeon for farther evaluation and treatment.all the best. take care.
