What Causes Blood In Bowel Movements?
My daughter had red/pink blood in her stool. We thought at first it may be her period starting. We have not seen blood since her last bowl movement. She has celiac disease but has not had any gluten for over 2 years. What could have caused the blood? She we see her doctor? If so which one? (She has many allergies and asthma)

Blood in the stool may be due to many causes like fissures or hemorrhoids or diverticulitis or dysentery or food color additives etcetera. Until examination, it is difficult to say what it is. Please consult your doctor he or she will examine and treat you accordingly.
