What Causes Blood Filled Blister On The Buttock?

On top of my buttcrack theres a pea sized blood bubble where little blood comes out every time I sit or lay down on it. The blood also come out if I just softly touch or squeeze with a tissue. When I sit continusely for a little time my underwear gets little blood stains because of it. It does not hurt or feel awkward while im standing. It feels very awkward and wierd when I sit on it. I had a little diarrhea or gas problem recently just for extra info. Also I play basketball once awhile so just sweat has anything to do. Btw blood jist kind of light red not dark or black

Hello,

I can understand your concern for blood filled blister on the buttock.

After reading your query it appears that you have got infection a the site which is recurrently draining blood at the site.

To tell you simply: Buttocks are prone to get infections due to moist nature of the area. It can get further infected because of improper hygiene.

Let me reassure you fully that these blisters on buttock are quite usual and the only problem is that these got infected.

If I were your treating doctor then would have prescribed you an antibiotic such as Ciprofloxacin or Amoxycillin. I would have also give pain killer in proper dose to reduce the inflammation. Maintain good hygiene and wear cotton undergarments to be changed two times daily. You can meet a dermatologist or surgeon for further guidance.

All the best.
