What Causes Blisters While Using Econazole For Rashes Under The Breast?

I have been using econazole nitrate 1% on rash under breast. It did work a year ago. This time I am getting blisters? Or is this Dove soap I am now using. I was using a baby shower wash before which was alright. I am allergic to many antibi. Which is the wrong thing to use.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi.
As per your case history you may be having allergic reaction to econazole cream.
My treatment advice is -
1. Stop using econazole cream as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it and a mild steroid cream like mometasone cream once daily.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 7-10 days.
4. You can use a clotrimazole cream instead of econazole as it is less likely to cause allergic reaction.

Thanks.
Dr. Harshit bhachech.
