What Causes Bleeding After Taking Tri-Sprintec?

This is my first month on birth control & I have noticed some bleeding but it s not heavy enough to be my Cycle & I am on the 3rd row & my cycle is supposed to come during the 4th row. There are slight cramps in my left lower abdomen, Also I am taking Tri sprintec. I Really Want To Know What is causing the bleeding.

Hi,

Slight irregularities and bleeding can happen after birth control pills especially on the earlier days of usage.

Generally, the bleeding will settle by itself without treatment. If bleeding is severe you can consult a gynecologist and get evaluated. You can also take drugs like Tranexamic Acid to control bleeding.
