What Causes Bitter Taste In The Mouth With History Of Thyroid Disorder?
I have had a somewhat bitter, strange taste in my mouth where nothing tastes right for the last month or two. At first I thought it was because I had the flu, then I thought maybe it was related to my mouth/tooth but it hasn t gone away. I have a thyroid disorder and just recently had full blood work done and my glucose level was 61. (right after I had a full lunch). I m not a diabetic, not overweight, but wondering if this is thyroid related or is something else? I m reading a bit about this Ketosis and I m getting a bit worried..is this only related to those who are diabetic already or who always have high levels.k
It is due to flu most probably. Take tab Natallins Rx for a week. Do Betadine gargles for a few days. Drink coconut water, juices, eat fruits and take Karvol plus steam inhalation capsules in boiled water. No, it is not thyroid related if TSH, T3, and T4 levels are good and normal blood glucose. Check CC, avoid smoke, alcohol, caffeine etc. Do you have dental prosthesis? Dry mouth? Acid reflux? Do yoga as it heals inflammatory causes.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
