What Causes Back Ache And Rigidity In Limbs With Sore Throat?

I returned home by airplane a week ago from SC. After returning I began to feel sore back that would ease with a hot shower momentarily but return. Legs are achey and stiff. Tired, slight depression, now a sore throat. No exceptional urination or groin pain, all urination normal color no cloudy. I am a 66 year old very active woman still working as a water exercise instructor,Lifeguard, Red Cross trainer. Could this be a weird virus? Feel slowed down, frustrated. Thanks for your help.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It could be a mild viral infection. Paracetamol, rest and good hydration would help. Do warm saline gargles. Drink warm fluids at regular intervals. It will be soothing for the throat. If not better in 2 days, do consult your primary care physician.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Warm Regards,
Dr. Divya Kuttikrishnan
