What Causes Ankle Pain After Getting An Acupuncture?

severe pain in my left ankle after slight brush of a curb. took acupuncture and when the needle was placed in position I moved my ankle slightly and the pain was intense. After that I notices that the pain grew worse and sharp. Now it constant and unbearable. What is happening; or has happened?

Hello,

I think the nerve is irritated with the needle and the post this the movement. You have to take TENS therapy along with ultrasound therapy for reducing pain and inflammation of the irritated nerve. Having a physiotherapist help will be good for this.
