What Causes Aches In Lower Abdomen?

Hello- I'm 48, 5'7", 142 lbs., lean/muscular and have began experiencing occasional dull aches in my lower left abdomen (to the lower left of the navel). I did have a duodenal ulcer 20 years ago, and do about 500 situps and leg lifts every other day. I also get cramping there upon ejaculation. Wondering if this could be a muscular issue. Thank you.

You are either having abdominal muscle wall pain because of muscle pull or it is colic of left side of intestine may be because of constipation or any urine infection . You are as such an old case of duodenal ulcer so you should avoid analgesic anti inflammatory drugs. Give the affected area hot water bag fermentation. It might work for both type of pain. Drink lots of water and take fibrous diet. If constipated add laxative at night once a while. See a Doctor if no benefited.
