What Causes Abnormal Vaginal Discharge?

Hi. I have a question about some discharge. I have just recently been to my gyno and forgot to ask her about it so I thought id seek online help instead of having to go back.. there is sometimes little pieces of what looks like wet toilet paper in my underwear. I m aware this could be of a yeast infection but there is no itching and generally no smell. I have been tested for studs as well. I am sexually active and just recently had sex and noticing a couple days after in the shower washing down there it was all over my hands and in bigger rubbery like feeling clumps. this is way more than I have ever had. just seeking advice if it s worth to go back or nothing to worry about.

Hello,

You are suffering from abnormal vaginal discharge. You are sexually active and have noticed clumpy discharge from your vagina. You are having yeast infection. Yeast infection produces discharge that is clumpy, like cottage cheese. Excessive or abnormal discharge per vagina occurs during the time of ovulation, allergic reaction, sexual arousal, stress or hormonal imbalance, antibiotic use, hormone-based birth control use, intrauterine device or early pregnancy, etc.

Get clinically examined by an OBGYN, you will be prescribed a single dose oral medicine Fluconazole. You can apply antifungal medications available as creams, ointments, tablets and suppositories like miconazole (Monistat 3) and terconazole. This is to be applied locally in the vagina for one week on consecutive nights. You will get relieve. If not, your OBGYN will put you in long course vaginal therapy. Stay away from addictions if any. Avoid use of perfumed cosmetic products, avoid douching the vagina, avoid use of latex condoms, etc. Take care of your hygiene.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
