What causes abdominal cramps with nausea and vomiting?
I have a friend who had been having abdominal cramps daily, especially after eating. She will also be woken up every morning with nauseousness and vomiting. Some times the vomit is dark in color or even red. This has been going on for several weeks to a month. She has been given medication for acid reflux and stomach spasms but neither is working. Can you help?
HI Well come to HCM Thank for asking, I really appreciate your concern, colicky abdomen pain is the likely condition and it has a many reasons it may be due to biliary colic, renal colic, in female it could be due to gynecological issue, over all condition may requires some investigation underlying cause of cramp matters the great else symptoms can be managed with Tab Dicyclomine with Acetaminophen three times in day, with Tab Omeprazole 40 mg with Domperidone 10 mg once in day, age also matters here, you have provided very little information I would advise to get done the plain x-ray and ultrasonography test hope this information helps.
