Hello,
It is good to know that your partner's
pap smear test results were clear. Sometimes, when the infection does not cause any cellular abnormalities, it can show negative results, but the person may have HPV infection. Cellular abnormalities caused by HPV can be quite focal on the
cervix, while the HPV infection can be more widespread, eg:
cold sore on the lips may be indicative (
oral HPV infection). You can get a
biopsy done to confirm.
Bumps, lumps on the shaft on the penis are commonly pimples, ingrown hairs, pearly papules that will go away by themselves, just take care of your hygiene. But if they are resistant it can be genital warts caused by HPV and you are suggested to get clinically examined and get HPV / STD tests done to stay on the safer side. You will be treated accordingly.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
