What Causes A Oily Substance On The Surface Of Bowels?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here..I had my gallbladder removed in October 2010. I have had the normal "dumping" issues ever since, but they are starting to subside. My DR told me I could take anti-diarrhea pills up to three times a week so that I am not housebound ( I suffer from depression so getting out of the house is important). Yesterday I noticed some orange oil floating in the toilet when I had a movement. I understand that that means my body isn't obsorbing fat, but why? Is this cause for concern. I have had pain in the gallbladder/liver area since the operation. I was originally told that it was just my body "settling down" after the surgery, but its been several months. The pains are alot more milder than they were a few months ago..
