What Causes A Lump On The Anal Opening?

hi, i have a slight lump on my anus but it is not hard. It feels very smooth as if the skin has been stretched, if that makes sense. I decided to investigate further and cannot really see anything except when i am relaxed over the toilet. It looks like one side of my anus is rather swollen like a balloon, it is soft and pink in colour. i have been experiencing quite a lot of itching, and it used to bleed say 4 months ago, but hav had nothing since. It is it not painful to touch or wipe or to go the loo, just an itch once i have been Is this a pile? or can this happen normally to your anus when going to the toilet. I thought it might be a prolapsed hemorrhoid but nothing is actually coming out of the anus it is more the side of it that is swollen.

Hello,

If no symptoms are there like pain or discomfort and still you experience the swelling of the anal region then it might be nonspecific or may not be the swelling it can be lymph node and chances of it very likely, else without the clinical information nothing can be said for sure, the most silent feature of cold abscess can be ruled out, if you go on looking it then you may have different ideas so I would advise you to see the doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
