What Causes A Delay In Periods And Excessive Fatigue Despite Using An Implant?

Hey there. I am on the implant but I have weird things happening. I haven t bled for 2 months and I heard that can be normal. Also when I drink beer or any liquor, I puke 90% of the time. And that started about two months ago. I get get cramps in my stomach and get sick to my stomach during the day. Also I get super hungry even if I just have a meal. Certain smells make me sick now. I did feel tired all the time and all of sudden it stopped this past week. My ankles are a little swollen. I do not know what this is or could mean. Please help me.

Hi,

The bleeding abnormalities like spotting or delayed period are common in injection contraception. The other systems you refer such joint pain and sick stomach may not be related to contraception.

They may be related to gastrointestinal infection you may need suffering lately. Take any anti-inflammatory drugs such Advil or Acetaminophen for pain relief. Use any anti-emetics such raglan for nausea.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
