About frequent sore throat you have, I would like to tell you that these symptoms you mentioned refer mainly to have lung infection bacterial or viral or having gastro-esophageal reflux that lead to irritation of the throat as gastric acid reflux reach your throat and lead to consequences of frequent sore throat. Your feeling of these symptoms should not make you worry as it is common problem. You should first refer to infectious disease or chest doctor to examine your throat and chest. Also it may be due to stress and anxiety and spicy foods because these will get symptoms worse. Severe smoking will cause more worse frequent sore throat. You can gargle your throat with saline as simply it helps to decontaminate your throat. You can use Chlorohexidine or Betadine mouth gargle as it is considered antiseptic for throat. Sometimes we require throat swab for investigation if symptoms get worse or recurrent. If bacterial infection suggested you will prescribed Amoxicillin or erythromycin as it is antibiotic has great role in treatment of throat infection. Wish you a healthy life!
Take care
