What Causes A Clear Fluid Post A Typhoid Injection?

I had a typhoid injection on Friday 21 January. I had no reaction to the injection but when I awoke the next morning I noticed a large patch of 'clear' fluid on the bed sheets and matress where I had been lying on my injected arm. I am due to go to Thailand in two weeks and concerned I may not be immune to typhoid. Should I return to my doctors please?

Hello. I would ike to answer your querry here.

please be asssured that its not a big issue and you need not be worried .

typhoid vaccine is given via intra muscular route. although it needs some time to develop antibodies for protection, be assured that once injected properly, it is not just going to leak out of the inj site.

reaction to vaccines is also very uncommon and they usually do not present as the one you are decribing.

i think the cause is unrelated to vaccination and that you have attained immunity to the same.

hope this was helpful

please do leave your reviews of the answer and your valuable feedback
