Since Jan 2011 I have experienced bumps on my skin that itched severely. Some a small red small bumps on my back, buttocks, arms (especially upper), a few on my legs, 3-4 on my stomach. I went to an urgent care center & they diagnosed scabnies, when that treatment didnt work the referred me to a dermatologist. The dermotologist Rx'd triamcinolone & antihistamines & told me to wrap in gauze to keep me from scratching and picking. She said it was definitely NOT scabies and that it was something internal - it was not something going on in my skin itself. I used the meds & the itching stopped but the bumps slowed down but were still forming. Someof them are larger than others - perfectly round lesions that leave dark spots were they were. I also experienced a partially numb feeling in my left pinkie finger for months but it has gone away along with an occasional "locking"of my left jaw that lasted for only a few seconds - that stopped in March. They did several bood & urine tests in ER w/no findings (not sure what they were looking for but I assume it was a pathogen) Now, tiny bumps are forming on both sides of my face, neck & above my breats. I am only allergic (as far as I know) to shellfish & I am lactose intolerant & have asthma. I have been using the triamcinolone on the new areas but the bumps persist. They are red and darken as they age. Two of the lesions on my body (1 on my breat & the newest one on my right arm are "eye-shapes"they were "slit-open"and itches and when they healed they leave a dark scar tthe same shape. The one on my breast appeared about a year or so b4 the other one. I have no idea if all symptoms are related but I am so frustrated. They found nothing in my blood & urine tests in the ER and referred me back to my primary MD. I just want to know what these are & how to stop them. The only thing I get are the bumps and itching but the triamcinolone alleviated the itching. I don't know if all of my symptoms are related. HELP!
