What Can Cause A Lump Near A Decaying Teeth?

hi i have a decaying tooth that i have ignored a few days ago my face swelled up and now the swelling has gone but i have a lump that is directly above my tooth almost above my jaw but is not visible but can be felt on my cheek.iam concerned it may be oral cancer

hello thanks for consulting at hcm,,it could be abscess either of periapical..plz consult a oral surgeon specialist at the earliest for the x-rays and treatment..hope it helps..tc..
