What Can Be Done To Increase The Platelet Count, Taking Azoron For The Same Having Diagnosed For ITP Disease?
my mother is diagnosed ITP disease from one year treatment is going on (wyselon 60 mg trip to 0 in one year) but no relieve...after this treatment she suffer from sugar n BP AND PLATELETS is still 12000only. eosinophil & monocytess =01,basophil=0,alkaline phosphate = 346 iu/l,in lipid profile triglycerides =157mg/dl,LDL Cholestrol is 177mg/dl. now she is on AZORON tablet twice daily but no plateletes increase.

The critical level of platelets in ITP is very uncertain and it goes on varying from patient to patient and with age, the clinical symptoms is the way to judge it, if with 12000 platelet count she does not have any symptoms then it is okay, the low platelet count of 12000 will not cause any harm to her, now for the increasing the platelet, Androgenic agent should be tried, the "Danazol" 200 mg twice a day will increase the count try it and take care of your mother have nice day
