What Can Be Done For Sore Throat, Fever, Body Ache?

Hi, I have had a sore throat for 2 days..slight fever, achy body. today I touched the side of my neck for no reason. It is sore and slightly swollen. I have an old prescription of Cephalexin.. have no insurance.. can t afford to go to the doc... Any ideas? P.S. cant afford to pay for the answer either, thanks anyway

Thanks for using health care magic.

From the available description it appears that you are having upper respiratory infection. The infection in your case is more likely to be a viral so the cephalexin is unlikely to help you.
You are advised to do gargles at least for 4-6 times with salt water.
For control of fever use the paracetamol that is available without prescription.
If you do not improve in next two days than it is advisable to visit a physician.
