What Can Be Causing These Horrific Chest Pains ?
I spoke with a doctor on here earlier and it helped ease my anxiety. anyway my chest pains have returned pretty strong now went to the er this mornign they blew me off with an ekg that was normal and sent me home to follow up with a gastro doctor. I have had ekg, echo, stress test, even wore a heart monitor for 24 hrs. All normal. so what can be causing these horrific chest pains ? I didn t even eat anything that would cause GERD like the doc in the er had mentioned. (also, they sent a PA, not even a doctor in the er)

Hi At present you need not worry for a cardiac cause. Sometime such pain may be due to a gaseous distension pressing on the diaphgram and may cause chest pain. See a Gastro in the meantime avoid heavy foods and take 4 small frequent feeds.

Hi. If you ecg and stress tests are normal it is a good news. Chest pains can be because of various reasons. It might even be because of some muscular origin in your chest. You might have had some injury in the past or maybe suffering from peptic disorders. You need to be investigated to determine the cause and treat it. In the meantime please do not get anxious and take care of your eating habits.
