Dear sir,
My daughter who is presently 23 years old has not had mensuration from the age of 15/16 years. She is 5 ft high and weighs 57 kgs. She has under gone USG,karyotyping,MRI and Liquied hormones profiles tests. The results of the tests are as under :-
(a) USG pelvis - vagina normally visualised.Overies could not to visualised.
USG abdoman - liver normal.RK/LK-normal.hypoplastic uterus.
(b) MRI - Both kidneys show good excretion with adequate demonstration of thier pelvicalceal sysyem.Urinary bladder reveals normal finding with no evidence of clots. The visualised liver shows normal anatomical configuration with uniform density and no area of altered attenuation. The visualised postal vein radicals, hepatic veins and essentially normal .The retroperitoneal spaces are normal.
A rudimentary uterus and cervix is seen. The ovaries could not be identified bilaterally.Thin streak of fluid appears in the vagina. The vagina appears essentially normal.
(c) Karyotying of peripheral blood cells - chromosomal analysis revealed apparently normal female karyotying, the banding resolution of the chromsomes being (ISCN) 500.
(d) Thyroid hormones profiles : T3 - 0.76,T4 - 86.0, TSH -2.1, LH - 100,FSH - 100 , prolactin - 4.4, testosterone - 36, estradiol - 0.
The doctor has ruled her as a case of premature failure of ovary. She has been advised Tablet - Premarin (life long) to develop hormones to enable her to develop female charactrestics and start of periods in about 2-3 years of time.
Would be grateful if you could advise (i) ayurvadic/homeopathic medicine for her by which she could start getting periods.(ii)Medicine in your field to develop her ovaries. (iii) Any hospital/research centre that can help her in developing ovaries.
Thanking you,
