What Are The Underlying Causes For Experiencing Pain Near Port Area While Taking Antibiotics For Diverticulitis?

I have diagnosed with diverticulitis and have been on two antibiotics for a week. I have a lap band and I have been having sharp pain near my port, it started last night after taking my pills. I have to cut them in half to take them. I ate lunch and the pain is back. What do you think is causing the pain?

hello i got your problem .the problem of your pain is mostly due to peptic ulcer disease because you are saying that your pain is associated with your food habits like you're getting pain after your lunch or dinner.
you don't need to worry about it your pain is mostly due to peptic ulcer disease so it will be relieved easily with medications prescribed by your doctor.and you said that you have a lap band surgery . So this pain may be associated with your surgery so just consult your surgeon how to diffrentiate complication. Wishing you speedy recovery n lead a normal life. Bye bye.
