What Are The Symptoms Of Thyroid Dysfunction?

What are symptoms that might mean a thyroid problem? I ah a baby a year ago, and cannot seems to lose any weight. I have been dieting and exercising for the last ten months and have seen no changes. I am still nursing, eating about 1500 calories a day and exercising a least five times a week from 20-60 minutes each time and have not lost a pound.

Hypothyroidism is when the thyroid secretes less amount of thyroid hormones. It affects almost all organs. Symptoms are weight gain, lethargy and fatigue, oedema esp on legs, constipation, intolerance to cold... Kindly correlate and in case you are thinking of it better go in for a test but give a fasting sample early morning preferably 8am because Tsh has diurnal variations.
