What Are The Symptoms Of Liver And Kidney Failure?
Hello I am a 41 year old african american with type 2 dm and htn. My resent labs were abnormal. My tsh was 5.46 free t4 1.2 aic 8.5 and vit d 22 and ast 45 and abnormal urine test. After doing some research I was wondering should I be worried about liver and kidney failure at this point.
The information you provided are by far not enough to answer you question. Liver and kidney failure would mean complete breakdown of their function and death. Why do you think you’re heading towards such a catastrophe? A comprehensive blood and urine panel test should be done to learn more about the functioning of your organs. A sonography of the abdomen would also make sense.
Please, don’t get one test here and one test there... This will never provide enough information to understand what’s happening. Imagine a car. You are telling us that the back seat has an issue and that the radio makes noises and with this information we should answer if the engine is in danger? Sorry, that’s not how medicine works.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Alexander Davis, General & Family Physician
