Hello,

Thnx to contact us. I understand your concern.

If I am your doctor I advice you that CD 4 count may range from 500-1200 cells/ml3. HIV 1 and 2 both tests are available in the market and both detectable in equal sensitivity and specificity. So if you worry regrading the HIV 2, you can get tested for it. Only difference in HIV 2 is that it has some different genetic constitution and it is resistant to some Anti Retro Viral drugs which is sensitive in case of HIV1
I will be happy to answer more of your concerns, kindly know me,
Wish you a very good health at health care magic.
