Migraine is a type of headache, more common in femals , involving episodes of pain, lasting for few hours to few days, often assocaited with nausea & vomiting. Sometimes patients expereince , what i s known as an AURA, which is a group of symptoms just before the headache starts.
These could be difficulty if vision, vertigo , etc. Sesitivity to noise, light, temperature change is assocaited with this, which triggers and may aggravate pain.
Since migrain is due to congestion of blood vessels in the brain, Vomiting, urination helps reduce headache.
For diagnosis history is needed, a detailed on, plus a CT scan of head to rule out anything else.
