Hi im a 17 year old female, for the past week my throat feels as if i have a ball stuck in there and just recovered from 4 nosebleeds. I read the symptoms of throat cancer and really relate to my symptoms so i was wondering if i have throat cancer and if i do then whats the first step of action?
Hi, I am a 22 year old male, smoker. For the past week I ve noticed a slight change in my voice. I am worried that this is the beginning stage of throat cancer but I do not have insurance or money to go get it checked out. When should I decide to just go in and have it checked out. I would also like to note that I do not have any noticable swelling in the neck or throat and I can not see anything abnormal in my throat. This is just distressing.
Hello, For that past 4-5 days I have been having a sensation in my throat. It feels like there is something stuck in my throat! It s scaring me because I m only two months into quitting smoking. I m 22 years old who is 200 pounds. I m only 5 2 so yes I m fat. Also, I have heavily smoked for about 5 years but have recently quit. I can swallow, I can breathe. But I think because I m anxious sometimes I feel that I have a hard time swallowing. Feels like a weird knot in my throat that wont go away no matter how hard i try to spit it out.I especially scared that I ll wake up from sleeping not being able to breathe. Therefore I haven t slept much in the past 4-5 days. I cannot sleep, I m stressed and frustrated since I ve been feeling this whatever it is in my throat. No ear ache, no jaw ache. I m so worried that it might be throat cancer that I cannot sleep or function through out the day. I have made an appointment with the hospital, but it is not until tomorrow.
I have a hiatal hernia. I have been going through tons of test.I had my 3rd meeting with the surgeon today. Now he wants to do one more test. A 24 hr. probe test. I had a motility test and upper GI but no acid reflux showed up. He says he can not do the surgery without the acid reflux showing up. I have terrible indigestion, heartburn and when I swallow it feel like I am swallowing a marble.I am miserable all the time
Constant chest pain that occasionally gets worse for a few seconds or minutes, labored breathing, numbness and tingling in left shoulder, lips and tongue, lightheaded, near fainting, difficulty swallowing ( painless), and a popping sensation at the right side base of my throat that is extremely uncomfortable
For the last month I've had crushing type pain in the center of my chest and then it radiates to the upper part of my back. It's excrutiating pain. I do not have any heartburn or bad taste in my mouth. I had an EKG, Blood work and a stress test and all came back fine so it's not my heart. Could this be Esophageal spasms? How would I know if I do?
I am a 50 year old male. Have suffered with acid reflux for a long time(years). I have difficulty swallowing. I seem to get food caught in my esophagus. I get pain DIRECTLY under my sternum. I have to force vomit (2 fingers) to prevent choking. Vomit is brown liquid with chunks. Sometimes I have difficulty breathing (seems like food is backed up and blocking my airway). I get a very bad taste in the back of my throat. I have never smoked and I do not do drugs. My diet is mostly meat, dairy, bread, pasta, soft drinks, some water. I do not drink alcohol.
