I ve had a terrible cough, sore throat and pain in my eardrums for a week now. Been the doctor n he told me it a bad viral infection . he told me to gargle on salt water and take ibuprofen but I seem to be getting worse. I already take co codomol for other problems but I m taking more now because of this. I m panicking in case I ve got throat cancer because I have been drinking regular since October.
Can you advise me what symptons to look for when diagnosing throat cancer. I ve had a persistant dry tickly cough now for at least 2 months. I haven t had a cold or been ill in anyway, and I m a non smoker. I am a 63 year old male. It s not a constant cough, but persistant, and seems to be getting worse. It doesn t wake me at night, just troublesome during the day. My throat isn t sore or swollen. Thank you
Last year, i started having that pain in my tonsils, ears hurt and having a high fever that lasts up to two weeks. This happens almost every 3months up to now. I never consulted a Doctor. I m 19 years old, female. I remembered the days when i swallowed my boyfriends semen, this is where it all started. I drink paracetamol and anti bacterial, lozenges and pineapple juice for relief. Will it be throat cancer when i get old? What is this?
will Librax help with esophageal spasms? I an currently on 80mg of Nexium and am experiencing chest pain and pain between my shoulder blades. I have been diagnosed with esophagitis, after having a endoscopy that showed inflammation. I have a CT of my chest and an esphogram scheduled for next week. I take Librax when my IBS is acting up. Will it help my symptoms I am having now?
Hi- Thank you for taking my question. I had an endoscopy 3/09 due to a constant tight feeling in my upper middle abdomen. (Still there to this day). When I woke up from the endoscopy they had me do a barium swallow. As I came out of the anesthesia I realized I had severe pain in my esophagus. It was painful to even swallow water. It lasted about 10 days. But at the same time I realized that if I move my chest muscles, I feel great pressure in my chest (still to this day). And slowly it became too painful to talk. I have a voice, but the vibration of it hurts something in what feels like my esophagus. It becomes very sore. (also bumps in the road etc any vibration hurts. Question 1) could that endoscopy injury with the barium poured over it be causing these problems? 2) If so, what is going on? Scar tissue? Barium irritation/inflammation? 3) How to remedy? Thank you so much for your time. I m in constant pain and I can t use my voice. Kari
