I had an acute aortic dissection from arch down to top of the legs. My aorta has been replaced with a Dacron graft from arch to diaphragm. I am on metoprolol, atacand, and lipitor. I am also a 50 year old male. After years of mental anguish, I would finally like to transition to the true woman I feel like within. Besides the usual side effects of taking hormones, are there any additional concerns or issues given the above medical information?
