What Are The Side Effects Of Liver Cancer?

Hi, my mother found out she has cirhossis of the liver with liver cancer. There were 9 tumors that were found. I don't think she is telling me everything or how bad it really is. I am curious to know if a transplant is even an option or how long she may live with those 9 tumors?

Liver cancer side effects wil result from failure of liver to do its functions. To mention few important ones
1) Liver stops detoxification function so all toxic products start increasing in our body.
2) deficiency of some vitamins and iron
3) problems with maintenance of sugar glucose level in blood.
4) problem in breaks down hemoglobin as well as insulin and other hormones
Converts ammonia to urea, which is vital in metabolism- can result in jaundice.
5) Bleeding becomes uncontrollable and once starts cant be stopped due to deficiency of clotting factors.
