What Are The Side Effects Of I Pill?
Hello, i had unprotected sex but took ipill after that , i am getting treatment of pcos from last 3 years , this time my periods were 10 days late but its not stopping even after 15 days .. Very little thick brown blood is coming. I had gone through pelvic scan and it shows that my ovaries are bulky in size n pcos is still there. Doctor gave me medicine which will stop bleeding in 3 days , but from few days i m feeling lot of stress on my lower stomach .. N i m agraid of it, is there any chance of side effect of ipill or any risk of pregnancy??? Please assist me..

I pill consists of hormones in high doses... so it tends to cause irregularity in menstruation for few months after it's intake. PCOD is a condition of hormonal imbalance & so causes irregular periods. Also, it is characterised by pain in the ovarian area before starting the periods.
The pain you have is due to increased hormonal imbalance due to taking I-pill thereby causing more stress to the swollen ovaries.
Simple pain medicine like Ibuprofen would relieve it... & it will be covered with the treatment you are getting. Please do not massage it. Be in touch with your treating doctor.
