Hello,
GEMINOR contains GLIMMIPRIDE,which belongs to sulfonylurea group of drugs.
Although it is well tolerated drug most of the times but it may sometimes cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea nd sometimes skin rash also.
As far as dose is concerned, taking 1 mg twice a day is a mild dose and considering the fact that your blood sugar levels are so high, you may need even higher doses of this drug as well as some other drugs also.
Dont worry about side effects and doses of medicines as this should be left on the treating doctor.
Have faith on your doctor and carry on with the treatment.
Thanks
