What Are The Side Effects Of Trigabantin?

Trigabantin 100mg is a pain killer ? And what are the side effects of this..? I m already facing stomach pain on the right side and right hand pain and i have gastric problem... this medicine will decrease the my health issue or it will give any side effect to me...? And i have same doubt on PROTHIADEN-75 tablets?

Hi,

Trigabantin tablet contains 3 active ingredients namely Alpha Lipoic Acid, Gabapentin and Mecobalamin.
It is used for adjunct therapy in severe muscle tightness, pain in extremities, management of postherpetic neuralgia and diabetic polyneuropathy.
The following is a list of possible side-effects that may occur by intake of Trigabantin. 1. Dizziness
2. Nausea and Vomiting
3. Vertigo
4. Itching
5. Diarrhea
6. Loss of appetite.

Prothiaden is composed of 'Dosulepin', which is a tricyclic antidepressant which is used in the treatment of depression.

Its side effects could include:
1. Drowsiness
2. Extrapyramidal symptoms
3. Tremor
4. Disorientation
5. Dizziness
6. Paresthesias
7. Dry mouth
8. Sweating
9. Urinary retention
10. Hypotension.

You need to seek medical attention promptly if any of the above side effects do not subside or become bothersome.
