What Are The Reasons For Dull Ache In Both Ovaries?

Miscarried 1/29 at 5 and a half weeks, bled all weekend. 2/2 I was leaning over a box and the corner of the box pushed into my abdomen and sent shooting pain through my right ovary area, since then I ve been experiencing a dull ache in both ovaries. I ve never had any sensation/feeling in my ovary area before. My doctor ran full blood panels and performed a pap 2/3 and I have an US appointment for 2/11. She didn t seem concerned about the ovary pain and the wait for my US is hard when I m constantly aching. What could be causing this ovary pain?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms are most likely due to ovarian cyst. Please follow up for the ultrasound appointment as scheduled. Meanwhile, take Tylenol for pain.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Lekshmi Rita Venugopal, General & Family Physician
