I m not sure who to speak to but I have been thinking about a few things. I am always going from happy to depressed to just hyper in the matter of seconds. I know people who are bipolar who are the exact same and have been diagnosed as bipolar. I was wondering if there was any information you could give me about bipolar and what indications there are for bipolar so I know whether I am bipolar or not. Thank you. AAAAA.
to diagnose as a bipolar disorder
you may haveatleast 3 or more of following
- elevated or irritable mood most of time in a day for at least 7 days ( manic ) 4 days(hypomanic)
-decrease need for sleep
-more talkactive than usual
-flight of ideas
-grandiosity
-increase involvement in pleasurable activity
-increase goal directed activity
MOST IMPORTANT IS IF YOUR SYMPTOMS ARE AS MUCH SEVERE THAT IT MAY AFFECT YOUR ACTIVITY OF DAILY LIVING, SOCIAL, OCCUPATIONAL AND OTHER ASPECT OF LIFE....
MOSTLY YOU ARE NOT A BIPOLAR PERSON, AND JUST A HYPERTHYMIC PERSONALITY TRAIT.........
but if you feel any significant disturbance or any person related to you feel that you need treatment then only you consult any psychiatrist directly.
