What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy When Using The Pull Out Method?

My son is 3months old & since his birth my husband & I have been using the pull out method & last month I missed my periods & have a pinkish brownish discharge and we took several pregnancy tests & they all came out negative! Is there any chance of me being pregnant again? Please help Miss A

Hi,
I understand your concern.
Actually pull out method, there are chances of pregnancy ,because even precum has few sperms which can cause pregnancy.
In your case you have 3 months old baby, must be breast feeding- while mother breast feeds her baby absolutely ,periods are irregular/ not present. because of suppressed ovulation . This gives a natural contraception during lactation.
I feel this is the case with you. Still it will be on safer side,
- to get blood HCG test done next month.
- To start using regular contraceptives With your doctor's advise.
